today I am grateful for the opportunity to serve; for being able to sit with my family and collectively try to decide how to give back; for cabbage and sausage; for the maturity that Mak exhibits; and that Reese imitates me by saying things back to me that I've said and mimicking my actions ("um, that requires an answer...idk is not an answer" to her question of whether she could play with the neighbour; and licking her finger to turn the page in the magazine bc she saw me do it lol)
