today I am grateful for a phone conversation with my sweet daddy; for sweet girl arms around me and the "I missed you, mommy!"; for being the confidant to my giggly teenager and the go-between with her daddy on some important-to-a-teen issues; for D understanding what I was trying to tell him; and for celebrating a friend's birthday.
