today, I am grateful for being able to stay in touch with my sister via text; for the outreach and love that she's received; for a beautiful morning sky that reminded me that even after the darkest night, the sun does rise again and joy and peace do return...eventually; for the lessons that we learn as a result of tragedy, heartbreak and loss; and for the abundance of blessings bestowed upon my family, both immediate and extended.
